ACHCL Classes
We offer the Concealed Handgun Carry License (ACHCL) classes at RRA.Classes are given at our shop (8329 Hwy 201 North Mt Home, AR 72653)
All classes are given on Sundays. (Store is too busy during normal hours) Classes forming now, please call to get signed up for the class (we like to have a minimum of 10 students)
The class starts at 12:00pm and is usually completed by 5... still time to attend Church!
We do range time (shooting) and classroom time all on site.
The cost for the class is $75 per person and is due the day of the class. The fee from the AR State Police is $144.25 for the initail license, this includes background check and the license is valid for 5 years. (The instructor certification is good for 6 months, if time is needed to secure $144.25) Renewals are $30 for the instructor and $60 for AR State Police.
What you need to bring...
- Handgun; If you dont have one, RRA will loan you a handgun for the class with a $5 charge for ammunition
- $75 per student paid to instructor
- A folding chair for class
Our class is very casual. You will learn the current laws, experience potential scenarios, classroom discussion and interaction and practice competent and safe handgun usage.
Our class is NOT intimidating. We will assist you 1 on 1! We have many students that have never used a handgun attend our classes, they are very concerned before class and range time...they have a differnt attitude when they leave.
